FEASIBILITY STUDIES

Evaluate existing dry utility infrastructure (onsite plus adjacent) and project scope. Identify possible facilities relocation required (overhead and/or underground). Establish permanent/temporary service requirements, potential source locations and extensions. Provide an outline of the estimated utility costs and timeline.

NEW PERMANENT SERVICES

Engineering design, drafting and coordination to provide new dry utility services to a wide variety of project types and local infrastructure. Assist our clients to navigate the complexities and requirements of the utility companies design process.

DISCONNECTION AND ABANDONMENT

Request and coordinate with utility companies to disconnect existing dry utility services. Obtain disconnect letters required for building demolition permit. Provide guidance to our clients for the timeline to minimize delays on the construction schedule.

UTILITY RELOCATION AND UNDERGROUNDING

Evaluate the proposed development and existing dry utility infrastructure to identify potential relocation required based on facilities encroachment or conflicts with the new facilities. Coordinate with the utility companies to discuss new alignments for overhead and/or underground facilities required to eliminate the conflicts.

TEMPORARY SERVICES FOR CONSTRUCTION

Discuss with the Client and General Contractor the temporary services required during construction. Coordinate with the dry utility companies the availability, cost and schedule for the services. Evaluate the suitability of the permanent services infrastructure to be used temporarily during construction, leading to cost savings and time savings.

PUBLIC STREETLIGHT DESIGN

Collaborate with the Civil Engineer and Landscape Architect to determine the final location of the streetlights regarding the existing and proposed site features. Obtain approval from the local jurisdiction. Design the required conduit system and coordinate the power source.

PRIVATE STREETLIGHT DESIGN

Collaborate with the Landscape Architect to determine the final location of the private streetlights. Prepare a photometric plan and make necessary changes to meet adequate lighting levels requirements. Design the required conduit system and coordinate the meter service requirements, cost, and schedule.

CONSTRUCTION COORDINATION

Serve as a liaison between the dry utility companies, the Client, and the General Contractor during construction, answer RFIS and resolve conflicts to avoid any delays on the project completion. Navigate the complexities of scheduling the dry utility services while meeting all the prerequisites on schedule. All the dry utility services available on time is our focus.
